Privacy Policy

Certificate Inspector is designed to minimize data collection. A hostname submitted for a live scan is processed to perform the requested TLS diagnostic. We do not ask for passwords, private keys, or account credentials.

Certificate files

Certificate files selected in the browser are parsed locally by the page. They are not uploaded as part of the local parsing workflow.

Operational data

Service infrastructure may process technical request data such as timestamps, response status, rate-limit state, and security logs needed to operate and protect the service. Results may include the hostname requested and certificate metadata returned by the endpoint. We do not sell submitted scan data.

Cookies and advertising

If advertising or analytics are enabled, the applicable provider may use cookies or similar technologies subject to its own policies. Any advertising relationship will not change scan results. Do not submit confidential or personally identifying information in the hostname field.
